Hello Dr McKinney!
I hope this message finds you well.
My name is Raquel Lara, and I am reaching out with great enthusiasm regarding an opportunity to collaborate with your esteemed institution.
I am currently enrolled at Liberty University, where I am poised to resume my studies in the Fall of 2024 to pursue my teaching license in special education.
As part of my academic requirements, I am seeking a placement for my practicum and student teaching experiences. Specifically, I need to complete a 90-hour practicum in Early Childhood during the Fall of 2024, followed by a 16-week student teaching assignment in the Spring of 2025.
I have successfully completed all of my Praxis exams and am eager to fulfill the remaining components of my program. Upon completion of my practicum and student teaching, I look forward to obtaining my license and committing to work as a licensed special education teacher.
I am reaching out to inquire if your school would be open to accommodating my practicum and student teaching periods as a long-term/vacancy substitute teacher.
I am dedicated to providing a positive impact and am highly motivated to learn and grow within a dynamic classroom environment.
I would be grateful for the opportunity to discuss how my goals align with your school's mission and how we might facilitate a mutually beneficial arrangement.
Please let me know if there are any application procedures I should follow or if there is any additional information I can provide.
Thank you for considering my request. I am looking forward to the possibility of working together to support the educational journeys of young learners.
